Saturday

During the crisis we could see that austerity measures, with a euphemism, measures in order to regain balance strike primarily the poorest and people who rely most on public services and allowances all over the world. For the past few years, in most countries social differences have increased, however in Hungary this process has been aggravated by an ideological turn as well; a dominantly right-wing social attitude, which considers poverty a sort of unworthiness or even a vice, while wealth is regarded as a virtue, therefore those are supported who do not need it really, and those are thrown into deprivation for whom even the smallest counts. Difficult life situations, everyday life on the periphery of society, ways out of hopelessness.
